A brief follow-up from the previous post. Did Avena sing the officially sanctioned version of Feliz Navidad at her winter recital, or did she go for the laugh (see video in the last post). I'll give you one guess. Yep, she went for the laugh.
A few years ago, Ben and I decided that Christmas needed a little "class," so we invested in some beautiful (horrible) holiday sweaters. We've been wearing them faithfully ever since. This year the Kihs family brought their "A" game. Don't they look amazing? One word of warning: "It's on" Kihs family. Just wait until next year. Ben and I are bringing some serious, and possibly disturbing, Christmas cheer. We only hope you're able to compete.
Check out the dance move Avena busted out at this year's Kwanzaa concert. It also involved a complicated move where she put her foot on top of her knee.
Want your amateur snapshots to look professional? All you need is the Golden Gate Bridge and some fog - it's pretty spectacular.
Ben and Avena in their new winter hats. It was a frigid 65 degrees today.
These goats haven't been hungry a second in their lives. They're part of the tiny town that is the only stop on the train ride at Train Town in Sonoma. Everything there is 1/4 scale, except the goats and sheep.
Avena wanted no help whatsoever when she rode this ride. She handed the man her ticket, took care of the seatbelt, and got herself off the ride. Back off, mom.
