We have not yet gotten the helpful folks at the Embassy to pull the DNA results out of their Inbox and turn them into a Visa. On a postive note, my mom is a master traveler and seems to have adjusted to the time change and has survived eating some somewhat suspect meat last night (it was "chicken"). Avena is training her to play her favorite game, which involves high pitched squealing and kisses. Thanks to everyone for sending fantastic goodies. Avena is wearing her new heart-shaped earrings in this photo (thanks Caren!) and loves her new toys and clothes (thanks Nina and Aunt Jeanette!). Her new hair products are great. Thanks, also, to Ann (I am trying to pace myself with the chocolate chip cookies, but they are very good). Mom saw a bit of Accra yesterday. She says she's too busy to add to the blog right now (apparently she's dissing all of you for Avena!). As always, we'll let you know as soon as we hear anything.
Ok - totally want to see photos of your Mom and Avena (HI, Aimee's MOM)!
ReplyDeleteSo, what hair products are you using and how do you like them? I picked up some olive oil-based moisturizing hair lotion for Lydia and it is doing wonders. I've found a couple places where I can buy Carol's Daughter...but haven't made it across town to make the purchase yet. Also wasn't sure which product line to choose. :)
Praying for those Embassy people to GET ON IT!
