A talent for waiting

Considering the fact that all we seem to do is "wait", you'd think we'd be better at it. Ghanaians seem particularly adroit at waiting, they excel at it. It's a talent. Time for Ghanaians is maleable, man can influence time. With Americans, not so much.

Anyway, when we're not sitting and watching the tide come in or reading or merely enduring the humid inferno of Ghana, we occupy ourselves by taking pictures of Avena. She tends to stare blankly as soon as she sees the camera, so you have to attempt to disguise the fact that you are trying to take her picture. This tactic rarely works.
